Mr. Sharon is the Chief Operating Officer of Microbot Medical, a micro robotics technology company that, together with XACT Robotics, is also a part of the MEDX Ventures Group. Mr. Sharon brings over 25 years of experience in managing R&D of Medical device companies. Mr. Sharon Holds an M.Sc. from MIT, a B.Sc. from the Technion and an MBA from the Kellog Recanatti School of Business.
Professor Goldberg is Head of Interventional Oncology Unit and Director of the Applied Radiology Research Lab at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem, Israel. Professor Goldberg’s external academic appointments and awards include Professor at Harvard Univesrity since 2007 and a Clinical and Research Fellowship in abdominal imaging and interventional radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Professor Flacke is Chief of Interventional Radiology at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, in Burlington Massachusetts, and Associate Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine. Professor Flacke received his medical degree from University of Bonn Faculty of Medicine and has been at the Lahey Clinic since 2007.
Dr. Valenti is an Interventional Radiologist at the Royal Victoria Hospital and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology at McGill Universty, both in Montreal, Canada. Dr Valenti’s main clinical interests are vascular and interventional radiology, and abdominal imaging. Dr. Valenti has been involved in various clinical technology developments including image guidance and navigation systems.
Dr. Glozman has been serving as Director of R&D at Magenta Medical Ltd. since 2012. Dr. Glozman developed the core technology on which XACT Robotics is based while completing his PhD at the Robotics Laboratory at the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology faculty of Mechanical Engineering, led by Professor Moshe Shoham. Dr. Glozman has a strong technological background in mechanical, computer and biomedical engineering.
Gal is Vice President for Research and Development at MST Medical Surgery Technologies. Prior to joining MST, Gal served for 10 years with the ERD, a top R&D unit of Israeli National Labs.
Gal holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (cum laude) and an M.E in Biomedical Engineering, both from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology.
